Beaux Arts Building
We have just completed the 1st phase of external repairs & coatings to the concrete & render together with painting & decoration of other areas at the Beaux Arts Building in North London.
It was built in 1932 as a Money Order Office for the Post Office and was designed in a classical Edwardian style. The nature of the work meant that the employees needed a lot of natural light to see the addresses and read type, hence the great expanse of windows.
The building was converted into flats in 1994, which contain high ceilings, galleries and amazing rooftop views of Holloway.
Remaining phases will include concrete & render repairs, protective coatings, painting & decorating, window replacement and liquid applied roof membranes.
