Structural Renovations Summer Update

It’s been a particularly busy period for the Company these last 6 months and a lot of positive changes and improvements have been made.

Our 30th anniversary year has sparked a need to mark our 3 decades of trading with something to match that achievement and what better way than increasing the business into three defined divisions, now including Structural Renovations Heritage & Conservation and Structural Renovations Tanking & Waterproofing, to sit alongside the already well-established Structural Renovations Repair, Reinstate, Restore.

Undeniably, our expansion and anniversary needed the right level of kudos, so we’re proud to unveil our brand new website, which after 4 months of meetings and development was launched in early July - and showcases our services and portfolio of work.

Proud to Support our Local Community

Further marketing regarding the new direction of the Company includes our continued support of both Leatherhead Football Club, who we have been proudly sponsoring for 8 years, together with Hemel Aces who our very own Tom Haynes manages – We wish both Clubs all the very best of success for the coming season.

Our Commitment to Best Working Practices

In late July Structural Renovations successfully maintained accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 having been audited by external assessors at our head office, yard/archive facility and various sites that were running at the time – This marks our 27th year of working to a recognised quality management system, which we believe is a cornerstone to running the Company both safely and efficiently.

Ongoing Works

We are currently particularly busy at site level with seven schools in Essex, Surrey and West Sussex requiring a variety of remedial treatments, from waterproofing basement storerooms, structural repair and corrosion control to reinforced concrete and high performance protective coatings. All works are to be completed within the narrow 6 week window of the summer holidays. This requires close and continued liaison with all interested parties, including the school staff, building surveyors and in some cases other trades who are also carrying out works on the same site. Regular site visits by our senior management to review progress and discuss any problems being experienced by our site management teams is a crucial part of ensuring the smooth running of our sites and allows us to minimise the escalation of issues.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any up-and-coming projects you may require assistance with.
